Letters are nearly ready

For two days pupils in 6º have been writing you letters. Tomorrow afternoon I' ll send you them in order to be there next week. I hope it!

Durante dos días los alumnos de 6º han estado escribiéndoos cartas. Mañana por la tarde os las enviaré para que estén allí la próxima semana. ¡Espero!

Estamos en España? Es un sueño? Are we in Spain? Is it a dream?

It is going to be warm here this week. Gosh we could be in Spain!! This is quite unusual!!!

Vamos a tener unas temperaturas bastante altas aqui en Bury. Puede ser que estemos en Espana??? Esto es muy raro!!

We are back! Estamos de vuelta!

Hello friends in Malaga! We are back at school now. Our term started on Monday 5th September. We look forward to hearing from you soon! Our autumn term is 7 weeks long and we break up again on Friday 21st October when we have one week off for half term.

It is raining cats and dogs here in England. We have had rain every day this week. Oh where is the sunshine?

Hola amigos en Malaga! Ya estamos de vuelta al cole. Nuestro trimestre comenzo lunes, 5 de septiembre.Tenemos muchas ganas de oir tus noticias! Nuestro trimestre de otono dura 7 semanas . Tendremos una semana de vacaciones comenzando el 21 de octubre a 15.15!!!!

Llueve a cantaros aqui en Inglaterra. Llueve desde hace el lunes pasado....no para de llover! Ay, donde esta el sol?

Leavers' assembly 2011/Graduacion de Y6 2010 -2011

Miercoles, 20 de julio fue el ultimo dia para Y6 a Christ Church Ainsworth y el dia de su graduacion. Todos recibieron un diccionario y un DVD de fotos de su vida en el colegio desde la guardaria hasta Y6. Todos los alumnos del colegio y los padres de los alumnos de Y6 asistieron y miramos el DVD en la aula.

Wednesday 20th July was Y6's last day at Christ Church Ainsworth School and they have a special leavers' assembly in front of their parents and the whole school.They each received a dictionary and a DVD of photos of their life from nursery through to Y6. We all watched the DVD at the assembly.

Miercoles, el 20 de julio fue el fin de nuestro ano escolar. Para celebrar fuimos a Christ Church, la iglesia afiliada a nuestro colegio. La iglesia esta muy cerca de nuestro colegio en Ainsworth y podemos ir alli andando. El parroco se llama Reverend Dave.

 Wednesday 20th July was the end of our school year. To celebrate the year we went to the church that our school is affiliated with - Christ Church in Ainsworth. The church is very near to the school and we can all walk there. The vicar is called Reverend Dave.

Young Enterprise /Una Empresa Juvenil

Los alumnos de la Clase Azul (4 anos) hasta la Clase Verde (7 anos) han cultivado muchas verduras: rabanitos, guisantes, patatas, zanahorias - aqui estan con un puesto de mercado vendiendo las verduras de su huerto.

The children from Blue class (age 4) to Green Class (age 7) have grown lots of different vegetables: radish, peas, potatoes, carrots. Here they are at their 'market stall' selling the vegetables from their allotment.

It was a close final with the winner beating the runner up 7 points to 6.
