Christmas is coming to...CEIP Vicente Aleixandre

Christmas is coming and we have started to decorate our school and classrooms.
Next week we will go to Málaga downtown to see different Nativity Scenes. We will also have the Christmas Festival on Thursday 18th which we will sing  Christmas carols.  

Se acerca la Navidad y hemos empezado a decorar nuestra escuela y las aulas.
La semana que viene vamos a ir al centro de Málaga para ver diferentes belenes. También tendremos el Festival de Navidad el jueves 18, en el que vamos a cantar villancicos.

NOVEMBER

We go on working and learning everyday. The last days of November we focus our attention on two specific days/

Continuamos trabajando y aprendiendo todos los días. Los últimos días de noviembre centramos nuestra atención en dos días específicos:

 International Children's Day on 20th November

That day we were talking about  children rights, although this year we payed special attention on the Education Right. We made some books writing our favourite subject and the reason. After that we included the books in a mural.

Ese día  hablamos de los derechos del niño, aunque este año prestamos  atención especial en el Derecho a la Educación. Hicimos algunos libros con nuestra asignatura favorita y la razón. Después se incluyeron los libros en un mural.

End Violence Against Women Day on 25th November

On the 25th November we decorated a tree with different messages against women violence. We wrote the messages on a heart which was going to create a flower later.


 El 25 de noviembre decoramos un árbol con diferentes mensajes en contra de la violencia hacia las mujeres. Escribimos los mensajes en un corazón que después iba a formar una flor.

HALLOWEEN

Although it's not a Spanish celebration, more and more people celebrate Halloween in Spain the last day of October. Children love this festival and they enjoy wearing costumes.
This year, our language assistant prepared a feeling activity.
Apart from that, we decorated some classrooms, and we did a lot of scary activities...HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Aunque no es una fiesta española, cada vez más personas celebran Halloween en España el último día de octubre. A los niños les encanta esta fiesta y disfrutan mucho  llevando disfraces.

Este año, nuestro auxiliar de conversación preparó una actividad sobre los sentidos.

Aparte de eso, decoramos algunas aulas, e hicimos un montón de actividades terroríficas ... ¡Feliz Halloween!

Visita al entrenamiento del Málaga/ Our trip to Malaga Football Club training

On 22nd October we had the opportunity to visit our football team (Málaga Club de Fútbol) while they were training. Pupils enjoyed all the time despite it was a really hot day.
Besides, one pupil had the opportunity to throw a penalty. It was a great day!

El 22 de octubre tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar a nuestro equipo de fútbol (Málaga Club de Fútbol) mientras ellos estaban entrenando. Los alumnos disfrutaron  todo el tiempo a pesar de que hizo un día muy caluroso.

Además, un alumno tuvo la oportunidad de lanzar un penalti. ¡Fue un gran día!

Welcome back!

On Wednesday 10th September we started the new school year. We hope to keep in touch along the year and learn a lot of new things.


El miércoles 10 de septiembre comenzamos el nuevo curso escolar. Esperamos seguir en contacto a lo largo del curso y aprender mucho.

FERIA DE MÁLAGA

It was celebrated from the 16th  to the 23rd  August.
The previous night (15th August), there was an opening speech and after that... fireworks.


Se celebró del 16 al 23 de agosto.
La noche anterior (15 de agosto), hubo un discurso de apertura y después...  fuegos artificiales.

 During one week people enjoy La Feria: horses, music, food, drinks, rides...



Durante una semana la gente disfruta de La Feria: caballos, música, comida, bebidas, paseos en las atracciones ...

This year there was a venue where people could see equestrian exhibitions.

Europe Day/ Día de Europa

On 9th May we celebrated the Europe Day at school.
El 9 de mayo celebramos el Día de Europa en el colegio.

Hicimos banderines y escuchamos el himno de Europa.
We did pennants and later we listen the European anthem.

We have also been learning about the typical costumes of the different European countries.
También estuvimos trabajando sobre los trajes típicos de los países de Europa.

Furthermore, pupils in Science have researched about the capital cities of Europe.
Además, los alumnos en conocimiento del medido han investigado y realizado proyectos sobre las capitales de Europa.
